Who is Kristy?
I am business owner, consultant, presenter, community participant, wife and parent. However, I feel that 'wife and parent' could potentially sum up all four roles. I have a broad participation in the community from a diverse range of business sectors to a range of community groups.
Business Owner
I am an owner in the following operating businesses:
- Green & Nutty Pty Ltd,
- Looking Deeper Pty Ltd, which incorporates:
I am a lover of start-up and shake-up business projects.
Consultant
Through, MIB Business Solutions and MIB Engineering Technologies, I provide a range of business consultancy services. Focus domains that I can enhance performance in are:
- marketing,
- human resources and
- work-flow systems engineering.
My services reflect my ten years experience in business ownership, management and the services those same businesses have provided. I registered my first business in 1998 at the age of 18 years and successfully brought it to sale in 2003. In those years I developed the skills to grow, manage, document business operations and oversee a business sales process. I have provided services to dozens of businesses from backyard businesses to Australian-based businesses with multinational operations.
Presenter
I regularly provide services in the form of public speaking on both matters of business and social matters that are close to my own heart. I also provide a range of in-house and public accessible training workshops and practical presentations. This has more recently included presentations at the Open Source Developers Conference and the System Administrators Guild of Australia Conference.
Community Participant
I am a representative on the Mitcham Hills Community Housing Association Inc, a group that provides housing for youth and young adults who find themselves displaced. I stand in the association as the fund-raising co-ordinator and as the community housing representative. I am an active participant within the home education community and am involved in organising Home Education Association events. When I can find the extra time I also participate in the Open Source community and two businesses I own are members of the Open Source Industry Association. I am also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute.

Wife and Parent
I live in Adelaide, Australia with my husband and three sons. My husband, Michael, is an owner in and General Manager at NetCraft Australia Pty Ltd and I also work for NetCraft Australia in the capacity of Marketing Manager. We are also a home schooling family. I have a blog hidden away for my personal happenings.
