Who is Kristy?
I am business owner, consultant, presenter, community participant, wife and parent. However, I feel that 'wife and parent' could potentially sum up all four roles. I have a broad participation in the community from a diverse range of business sectors to a range of community groups.![]()
CEO
I am the CEO of the following companies:
I am a lover of start-up and shake-up business projects.
Consultant
I provide a range of business consultancy services. Focus domains that I can enhance performance in are:
- marketing,
- human resources and
- work-flow systems engineering.
My services reflect more than a decade of experience in business ownership, management and the services those same businesses have provided. I registered my first business at the age of 18 years and successfully brought it to sale in just over five years. In those years I developed the skills to grow, manage, document business operations and oversee a business sales process. I have provided services to dozens of businesses from backyard businesses to Australian-based businesses with multinational operations.
Presenter
I regularly provide services in the form of public and event speaking on both matters of business and social matters that are close to my own heart. I also provide a range of in-house and public accessible training workshops and practical presentations. [Friends and Family only link] This has included presentations at the Open Source Developers Conference and the System Administrators Guild of Australia Conference.

Community Participant
I am a representative on the Mitcham Hills Community Housing Association Inc, a group that provides housing for youth and young adults who find themselves displaced. I stand in the association as the fund-raising co-ordinator and as the community housing representative. I am an active participant within the home education community and am involved in organising Home Education Association events. When I can find the extra time I also participate in the Open Source community and two businesses I own are members of the Open Source Industry Association. I am also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute.
I also have thrown up a couple of web sites that I often lack the time to contribute to and hope to soon be in a position to get them up to speed. They are:
