Political Influences

Government policy has more implications then those who write it seem to consider. One such policy resides in the hands of the ACCC when it comes to product claims and labeling. There are matter within my Australian soap nut business that I take very seriously as making false or misleading claims about your product or what it is made up of is not good for long term business reputation.

Tonight I went to see 'Anatomy of a Meltdown' one of many monthly presentations put on by Adelaide University as part of 'Research Tuesday' - a chance for real people to come face to face with university researchers.

The presentation is actually titled 'The GFC forum: Cause, effect and recovery'. Yep, the big Global Financial Crisis being discussed by academics in the public domain with more insight than market analysts and just enough to see active knowledge transference. It was a hoot!
